We currently have a vacancy for a Junior Java/JEE Software Engineer, to join our Team.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

As a member of a very competent software team, the ideal candidate is working closely with the customer in order to understand, innovate and develop solutions according to the key requirements provided.

More specifically, he/she will be involved in :

• Designing, implementing and maintaining critical middleware software applications in Java to meet clients requirements

• Documenting and unit testing his/her own code

• Work with analysis, operations and test team in order to maximize the quality of the application

Skills & Experience:

• University Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology from a Greek or foreign institute.

• 2-5 year experience in Java along with JEE familiarity (EJB, CDI, XML, Web Services, SOAP, JPA, JDBC)

• Experience in working with the JBoss Application Server will be appreciated

• Knowledge of Apache Camel and/or Business Rules (BRMS) will be highly appreciated

• Knowledge of RDBMS

• Knowledge of Full Life-Cycle Software Development

• Excellent use of English language (verbal & written)

• Ability to set and meet strict deadlines

• Ability to work both independently and within multi-disciplined teams

• Career motivation and a willingness to further develop knowledge and skills

• Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates)
