Το Texas A&M at Qatar θα συνεργαστεί με μετα-διδακτορικό ερευνητή στον τομέα «Concentrating Solar Technologies».

Post-Doctoral Associate at Texas A&M at Qatar on Concentrating Solar Technologies

• Description: Research on concentrated solar technologies using numerical and experimental methods. The PDRA is expected to focus on two specific tasks: i) an experimental study related to aging of materials with theoretical work for the results interpretation and ii) a numerical and proof-of-concept study using coupled cfd-optical modelling tools for a new solar-receiver. There will be significant degrees of freedom to direct and lead the research work.

• Salary/PayBasis: $42k /year salary, plus accommodation, relocation/repatriation expenses and medical insurance. There are no income taxes in Qatar.

• Duration: 1+1 year (depending on budget availability and performance). The specific project is starting January 2018 but a reasonable relocation date is around March 2018.

• Location: Doha, Qatar

• Education/Experience: PhD degree in Engineering (preferable in Chemical, Process, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering). Experience in concentrated light research. Adequate knowledge of software such as MatLab, Solidworks, Fluent, Labview, TracePro or equivalent will be valuable.
